Troubleshooting Login Issues
If you're having trouble accessing your MarketQuants account, try these common solutions.
1. Resetting Your Password
If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it directly from the login screen.
- Click "Forgot Password?" on the Sign In page.
- Enter your email address.
- Check your inbox for a reset link (don't forget to check the Spam folder).
2. Issues with the Mobile App (PWA)
Since MarketQuants is a Progressive Web App (PWA), sometimes the saved version on your phone can get out of sync with our servers.
Symptoms:
- Clicking login does nothing.
- You see a blank white screen.
- The app crashes immediately upon opening.
The Fix:
- Close the app completely (swipe it away from your recent apps).
- Clear Cache:
- iOS: Go to Settings -> Safari -> Clear History and Website Data. (Note: This clears all Safari cookies).
- Android: Long press the app icon -> App Info -> Storage -> Clear Cache.
- Re-install: Delete the icon from your home screen and re-add it from
app.marketquants.comvia your browser's share menu.
3. "Account Not Found"
If you signed up using a social provider (Google/Apple) but are trying to sign in with a password, the system might not recognize you.
- Please continue to use the same method you used to sign up.
- If you used "Sign in with Apple," ensure you didn't select "Hide My Email," or if you did, check your relay email address.
