Data Refresh & Accuracy
MarketQuants relies on connected market data feeds for price updates and daily batch processing for ranking calculations.
1. Leaderboard Updates
- Ranking Schedule: Composite and related scores are calculated once per trading day after market close.
- Price Updates: Price data updates periodically during market hours.
- Manual Refresh: Use the refresh control in the header if you suspect data is not current.
2. Manual Refresh
To refresh displayed data without reloading the application:
- Select the MarketQuants logo in the header.
- This refreshes portfolio and ranking data displayed on screen.
3. Portfolio Balance Timing
Portfolio balances reflect data retrieved from the connected brokerage provider.
- Updates are dependent on the brokerage’s reporting frequency.
- During volatile market conditions, small timing differences may occur.
- After regular market hours, balance updates may be limited based on brokerage data availability.
4. Missing Securities
MarketQuants focuses on a defined stock universe for ranking and comparison purposes.
Securities outside this universe are not included in the ranking system.
Universe selection is based on predefined liquidity and market-capitalization criteria.
