Does MarketQuants tell me what to buy?
No. MarketQuants is a data and analytics platform, not a financial advisor.
We provide objective rankings and insights based on quantitative methodologies. All trading decisions are made solely by the user.
Is MarketQuants suitable for beginners?
MarketQuants is designed to be accessible and intuitive. However, financial markets involve risk, and users should ensure they understand those risks before participating in live trading.
How often is the data updated?
Stock rankings and Composite Scores are calculated once per trading day after market close.
Price data updates periodically during market hours. If you connect a supported brokerage account, your portfolio data may sync in real time, subject to brokerage availability.
What makes the Composite Score different?
Composite Score is a signed ranking metric (positive, zero, or negative). It measures short-term price behavior relative to recent historical levels and is used to order securities on the Leaderboard.
It is not a 0–100 score and does not blend fundamental data. See Composite Score.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes limited Leaderboard access (top 9), tracking for up to 9 positions, paper trading, Quant School (Basic), and The Brief (Basic).
Paid plans are Lite and Pro. Lite adds live trading and Deep Dive. Pro expands Leaderboard and position limits and unlocks Invest Mode, Quant School (Advanced), daily Portfolio Advisor, and advanced sharing.

Do I need a brokerage account?
No. MarketQuants can be used purely as a research and analytics platform.
If you choose to enable live trading functionality (Lite or Pro), you may optionally connect a supported third-party brokerage account through secure authorization.

Is MarketQuants mobile-friendly?
Yes. MarketQuants is designed with a mobile-first interface and can be installed as a progressive web app (PWA) for convenient access.
