Welcome to MarketQuants. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MarketQuants platform, website, and related services (the “Service”).

By accessing or using MarketQuants, you agree to these Terms.

MarketQuants is an independent software platform and is not a broker-dealer, investment advisor, or financial institution.

1. Acceptance of Terms​

By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service​

MarketQuants provides analytics, research, portfolio insights, and software tools designed to help users analyze financial markets.

Features may include:

  • Simulated (paper) trading environments
  • Optional connection to supported third-party brokerage accounts
  • AI-generated summaries and insights

MarketQuants does not provide brokerage services or execute trades independently.

3. Eligibility​

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding agreements.

4. Account Registration and Security​

4.1 Account Creation​

You agree to provide accurate and current registration information.

4.2 Account Responsibility​

You are responsible for activities occurring under your account.

4.3 Brokerage Connections​

If you choose to connect a brokerage account, authorization occurs through secure OAuth authorization provided by the brokerage.

MarketQuants does not receive or store brokerage login credentials.

5. Brokerage Integrations​

5.1 Third-Party Broker Relationship​

MarketQuants may integrate with third-party brokerage providers to allow users to access account information or submit trading instructions.

All securities transactions are executed solely by the brokerage provider.

MarketQuants:

  • does not hold customer funds,
  • does not custody securities,
  • does not act as an introducing broker,
  • and is not affiliated with any brokerage provider.

5.2 User Authorization​

By connecting a brokerage account, you authorize MarketQuants to access account information and transmit trading instructions at your direction.

You remain solely responsible for all trading decisions.

5.3 Investment Risk​

Trading securities involves risk, including potential loss of capital.

MarketQuants is not responsible for trading outcomes or financial losses.

5.4 No Investment Advice​

MarketQuants provides informational and analytical tools only.

Nothing on the Service constitutes:

  • investment advice,
  • financial advice,
  • trading recommendations,
  • or fiduciary services.

6. User Responsibilities​

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service unlawfully
  • Attempt unauthorized system access
  • Disrupt platform operations
  • Scrape or extract data improperly
  • Impersonate individuals or entities

7. Intellectual Property​

All platform content, software, and materials are owned by MarketQuants and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Data and Privacy​

Your use of MarketQuants is governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Services​

MarketQuants relies on third-party providers for certain functionality.

Use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

MarketQuants is not responsible for third-party availability, accuracy, or performance.

10. Disclaimers​

10.1 Service Availability​

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties.

10.2 No Performance Guarantees​

MarketQuants makes no guarantees regarding investment performance or results.

10.3 Financial Risk​

Users acknowledge that financial market participation involves risk.

11. Limitation of Liability​

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MarketQuants shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including financial losses resulting from trading activity.

12. Indemnification​

You agree to indemnify MarketQuants against claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination​

We may suspend or terminate access at any time.

14. Changes to Terms​

Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.

Continued use constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law​

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware.

Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
