Setting Up a Brokerage Account
MarketQuants can be used as a research and analytics platform without connecting a brokerage account.
If you choose to enable trading functionality, you may optionally connect a supported third-party brokerage account.
MarketQuants is an independent software platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brokerage provider.
Using a Supported Brokerage
If you do not already have a brokerage account, you may create one directly with a supported brokerage provider.
Account creation, identity verification, and security requirements are handled entirely by the brokerage provider.
MarketQuants does not participate in or control this process.
Important Notes
- Brokerage accounts are created and maintained directly with the provider.
- MarketQuants does not open brokerage accounts on behalf of users.
- MarketQuants does not provide brokerage, custody, or financial services.
- All account approvals and compliance checks are performed by the brokerage provider.
Security Requirements
Most brokerage providers require additional security measures such as:
- Email verification
- Identity verification (KYC)
- Multi-Factor Authentication (2FA)
These requirements are managed entirely by the brokerage provider.
