Common UI Interactions

MarketQuants is designed with a mobile-first philosophy, relying on intuitive gestures to navigate smoothly between data and actions.

Swipe Gestures​

Navigation between related cards (like Buy, Sell, and Liquidate) is handled via swipes.

  • Left to Right Swipe: Moves to the Next Card (e.g., from Buy -> Sell -> Liquidate), if available.
  • Right to Left Swipe: Closes the current card or returns to the previous view.

When multiple screens or cards are available in a sequence, you will see a row of Navigation Dots at the bottom of the interface.

Navigation Dots

  • Yellow Dot: Indicates the Active (current) card.
  • Grey Dot: Indicates other available cards.
  • Interaction: You can tap on any grey dot to jump directly to that card.
