Interface Tour

The MarketQuants app is designed to be intuitive, with three main sections available at a glance: My Portfolio, My Positions, and The Leaderboard.

The Stripe (Header)​

The Stripe Header

The top title bar, which we call The Stripe, contains key controls for the app.

  • Refresh: You can refresh the app anytime by clicking on the MarketQuants logo.
  • User Profile: On the right, you'll see your first name.
  • Trading Mode (The Beacon): To the left of your name is a Beacon icon.
    • Grey Beacon: Indicates you are in Paper Trading mode.
    • Gold Beacon: Indicates you are in Live Trading mode.

The color theme of the icons in the section headers also changes based on your mode: Grey for Paper Trading and Gold for Live Trading.

Main Sections​

Each of the three main sections provides specific functionality.

1. My Portfolio​

My Portfolio Section Shows your portfolio's high-level metrics and assessment, organized into "Shells" for Stocks, Cash, and Balance.

2. My Positions​

My Positions Section Displays a detailed list of your holdings, highlighting meaningful positions in gold.

3. Leaderboard​

Leaderboard Section Features the top-ranked assets based on our proprietary scoring, displayed in interactive tiles.
