Understanding Performance Metrics

This section explains analytical metrics available within MarketQuants.

MarketQuants provides informational tools only and does not provide investment advice.

Benchmark Comparison​

Some investors compare individual security performance to a broad market index or sector benchmark.

Relative performance analysis can help describe how a security has performed compared to a selected benchmark over a given time period.

Interpretation of comparative performance remains the responsibility of the user.

Portfolio Structure Metrics​

The Efficiency Score and related metrics describe structural characteristics of a portfolio, including position concentration and sector distribution.

These metrics are descriptive and do not recommend specific allocation changes.

Trend-Based Metrics​

MarketQuants provides quantitative indicators reflecting price behavior and structural trends.

These indicators are mathematical outputs derived from predefined models.

Users are solely responsible for determining how to interpret or act on these outputs.
